We are delighted to announce that The Motley Fool's Jim Gillies, of Options and PayDirt fame, will be a special guest. Jim will bring his provocative and profitable small cap investing ideas, sure to bring excitement to your portfolio.(Yes, we wish that other guy were coming, but he has other plans!)

Matthew Richey

Back by popular demand, Matthew Richey is a principal and portfolio manager at Centaur Capital Partners in Dallas. He runs a top-performing value hedge fund and is advisor to the Tilson Dividend Fund. Matthew will speak about investing for inflation and deflation and, as always, give us new ideas. Matthew, his Centaur partner Zeke Ashson, and Tom are long-time friends since their days at The Motley Fool. Matthew was a hit at CGI LV I, so we're more than happy to have him back!

John Del Vecchio

John Del Vecchio, CFA, is the manager of Ranger Alternative Investments, an arm of Dallas's Ranger Investments, which has $1 billion under management. A short-side specialist, John has an unparalleled bear-side resume. Starting with Tom and the gang at TMF, John has carried his unbelievable record to Howard Shilit's CFRA (now owned by RiskMetrics), David Tice's Tice Investments and Prudent Bear Fund, and now to Ranger. John will speak frankly -- he is nothing if not frank! -- about short selling and how he identifies signs of implosion. He's also promised to share some tools so you can try this at home.

Ori Eyal

Ori Eyal is a global value manager whose Emerging Capital Management Fund rose 27% from inception last October through July (most recent quarter reported), versus (1%) for the S&P 500. Ori has spent the last 8 years studying and practicing global value investing and has developed a disciplined global value investing framework at Deutsche Bank Asset Management, Deephaven Capital Management, and Aquamarine Fund. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.
